Synopsis

Story of Welsh postman's efforts to bring happiness into lives of assortment of people. The conniving village postman does his best to bring fulfillment to the lives of guests at the village pub and to marry the landlady himself. The proposed marriage between Petula Clarke and Donald Houston as a war hero in a wheelchair has conviction and restraint.
