Sultans of the South

Sultans of the South is cast across the spectrum. Ranging from wild socialite Kimia, to party obsessed Nafeel, to ALPHA boss Ariana, to the flamboyant, outlandish Zeshan, all the way to liberal-conservative, hijab-wearing. With a shared Eastern religious background, they're the cross-section of Atlanta's unexpectedly high- flying Eastern- American community. But, despite all the success, they're each struggling in their own way to reconcile their family's traditional demands with their oversized Americana dreams and personalities. They fight with, and sometimes surrender to, their family's disapproval of their adventures in the nightlife and entertainment scenes. With their personal and professional lives deeply intertwined, nothing is off-limits in this reality dramedy. Don't worry, America, you'll easily follow along this cultural ride. Just because you might hear the word "Ramadan" in one sentence, it doesn't necessarily mean "The Uber X just got here and I'm dying for some Taco bell" isn't too far behind.
