In this season, both Akiva and Shulem find new love, and need to make compromises and difficult choices in order to keep it. Ruhami falls in love and secretly gets married, against the entire family's wishes. Akiva wins an art award, and is forced to choose a path.

The story of Akiva Shtisel, a young Haredi bachelor living with his widowed father, Shulem. Together, they share an apartment and a cynical sense of humor. Akiva is quickly nearing the age of marriage, and needs to make some choices regarding his romantic future.
